About this deal

YGG adopts this notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) and other California privacy laws. Our band plays a variety of styles of music and the M9 allows me to find the sounds I need with with a minimal pedal board.

Third parties to whom you or your agents authorize us to disclose your personal information in connection with products or services we provide to you. We use your IP address or unique device ID address to track device-event information such as crashes, system activity and hardware settings, and also to control access to certain services or applications. While I'll stick with that same basic framework, that's already been done here on Harmony Central - if you'd like to check out Jon Chappell's review of the Line 6 M9 and its larger sibling the M13, you can find it right here. Built like three side-by-side effect units, M9 Stompbox Modeler lets you run any three effects simultaneously with any three others on deck.

Add to this true analog bypass, stereo in and out, rugged construction and plug-and-play operation and you have a great sounding, all in one effects solution that is more convenient, and costs significantly less than a board of high quality pedals! While the majority of users will operate this pedal in mono, players with more advanced rigs will love that the M9 offers stereo operation. We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time as we add new products and apps, as we improve our current offerings, and as technologies and laws change. Each model was inspired by a legendary stompbox tone and carefully crafted to produce all the tonal colours and nuances made famous by the original. Both amps offer a wide range of tones from crystal clear cleans to extremely high gain metal sounds, and we placed the M9 both in front of the input as well as in the effects loop (serial) of each rig.If postage is selected, it will be packed very carefully and sent via Parcelforce48 within 3 working days of purchase. The light turns green when using delay, which corresponds to the green housing of a Line 6 DL4 pedal; the light turns blue to indicate using one of the modulation effects just like the blue-colored MM4 pedal; the light is purple to indicate the filter/FM4 effect; yellow for distortion (like the DM4); and orange to indicate reverb. Grade 4 out of 5 - Item shows some mild and/or minor signs of use such as superficial scuffs and marks. We could select new Scenes just by stepping on one of the six buttons without having to do the double-button dance.

Editor’s Note: The more elaborate Line 6 M13 pedal has an external preamp loop for popular “four cable” hookups, enabling you to route some effects front-of-amp and others into your effects loop.

Instead of replicating that previous review, what I want to do is go into some of the reasons why (after using one extensively for a couple of years) I consider the M9 to be a true classic effects unit, and talk about some of the things I like about it and how I've been using it, as well as a few of the things I wish were different. Some users have reported issues with the footswitches, although this has never been a problem for me. includes numerous new effects and refinements to the pedal’s operation, one of our first tasks was to update the pedal. I add more and more boxes, then I get tired of the complexity and the depleted purity of signal (from so many cables and pedals) and I simplify. The Personal Information YGG has reached the defined retention period no longer needs the personal information for the purposes of the processing, but you require the Personal Information to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

And I wish it was easier to just get a "basic" chorus, delay, and clean boost from this without too much trouble. Distortions sound a little thin but usable though I would not use them for serious performing or recording but, good enough for looping. This effect sounds as good as many of the familiar “pro” products, and if you’ve always wanted to make use of this effect but didn’t want to spend a ton for rack gear, we think you’ll be very happy.

Line 6 have deliberately made the M9 user friendly for those used to stompboxes by keeping the controls clear and simple, uncluttered by complicated menus. You have 100% control over effect placement and effect type - arrange them into tried-and-true combinations or get creative and invent your own original blends. Octo delivered synth-like ringing behind a cavernous echo ala The Edge, and Particle Verb created spacey volume swells without having to do it the old fashioned way. Incredible delays, reverbs and modulations from the stompbox modeler series but lackluster distortions (some adjustments are required to reduce excesive high end). Another limitation is the MIDI out port that does not have MIDI through implemented and is not programmable.
