Lego Special Collectors 10194 - Emerald Night
About this deal
The Emerald Night Class A2’s first section locomotive is built with lights in mind and is intended to be tender powered. The Flying Scotsman is back in orbit and a popular tourist destination seven years after the box went on sale. I'm not a purist as I only got into Lego trains about 3 months ago however being a railfan and a railroader, it doesn't matter to me if it's pure Lego or not. Included in the K10194-1 kit, which includes all Power Functions parts needed to convert this set into a remote controllable, motorized version. Meticulously crafted to capture the essence of a bygone era, this set combines the charm of classic train design with LEGO’s signature attention to detail.
Bathed in the soft luminescence of LEGO Lights, details like the detailed interior of the dining car and the steam emanating from the locomotive come alive, evoking feelings of warmth and wonder. It's more than just a model; it's a shimmering representation of a time when rail travel was not just about the destination, but the journey itself, filled with luxury, wonder, and starry nights. A water inlet, two golden valves, and an open fire door with a flame and smoke halogen at the back were all features of the locomotive component. The design wasn’t quite perfect, but with the help of some smart AFOLs, I was able to modify the engine for better operation.
This model was introduced as a part of the Trains product line and contains a minifigure of the character Railway Engineer. As the lights cast their glow on the LEGO Emerald Night 10194, you're transported to the golden age of rail. With intricate details spanning its length, the LEGO Emerald Night stands as a testament to the grandeur of vintage trains.
