About this deal

Amelia outdid herself in this novel, creating a complex roller coaster ride filled with emotions. Aria is a strong and selfless character and is determined to correct the wrongs committed by her ancestors even when she is being hunted. It was supposed to be easy; get in and get out. Move pieces into place and set the stage for the war he’s been planning for over 500 years. Aria is his sworn enemy but something within her calls to him and he hates himself for craving the fiery kisses that have reignited his cold, dead heart. One taste, and he thought he could get her out of his system. He was wrong.

Will Knox let go of the memories of the past, driving his need for revenge that will destroy the pretty little witch he craves, or will he push the boundaries to fight for and claim what is his by right? Either way, war is inevitable. And nothing will stop him from reaching for what is his.He has always thought that everything would be easy by just starting a war stage that he’s been planning for more than five hundred years. He knows that she’s his enemy, but something in her calls him, igniting his cold heart. He was wrong to think that he would take her out so easily.

When Knox calls her, Arian knows that he has an agenda. Knox declared himself a king in their absence, and now she can’t trust him anymore. Knox feels connected to Aria, but unfortunately, she doesn’t fit his revenge plans. For how long will Aria escape the man who is always tailing her as her heart struggles to fight the desire for him to claim her? Can Aria break the curse on the Hecate generation and keep her heart safe at the same time? Though it was not successful in replacing the First Flame, it functions similarly to it, as Demons can become powerful enough to "link" it and rekindle it when it dies out. [4] The chosen one for this task was the Demon Prince, whose will is within all Demonkind, but his defeat at the hands of Prince Lorian of Lothric, and later the Ashen One, left the demon race without a champion, rendering them extinct. How far will Aria go to protect those she loves from Knox's wrath? How long can she evade the man stalking her every waking hour as her body and mind fight against the growing need for him to claim her? Can she break the curse that has plagued the Hecate bloodline for over 500 years while protecting her heart? Knox and Aria are both interesting, and their chemistry is off the charts. The story is told from two points of view with complex twists and turns. Even though Aria and Knox seem to despise each other, they are drawn to each other and cause trouble everywhere. Hutchins considers herself to be a coffee addict as she drinks a lot of the “magical potion” that is coffee and uses the drink to help her create the magical worlds that inhabit her books. The author runs a fan group on facebook where she can often be found hanging out with her fans. Knox has ulterior motives for being in Haven Falls and never expected the little witch to show up and brazenly challenge his rule. They discover that things have changed in the human realm, and not everything is what it seems. While Aria tries looking for her missing twin, Amara, at Haven falls, she meets Knox, a dangerous, mysterious man declaring himself a king.

Sparks fly when the two enter a fiery battle of wills as Aria learns she is more than just a witch in the Hecate bloodline; she is much, much more. Creating a new House of Magic is hard work. Aria knew she had a tall task ahead of her, cleaning up the mess her family had made in the Nine Realms, but nothing could have prepared her for the horrors that awaited within the Nine Realms. Amelia Hutchins has written a fascinating story about a man who makes readers experience the thin line between love and hate. Aria is an amazing heroine and a badass giving the readers everything they want. Even though she’s vulnerable, she doesn’t let people walk over her. The Blades of Chaos are the token weapon of the God of War series and are iconic even to those who have ever only seen images of Kratos. The Blades of Chaos have been in Kratos's possession ever since the first God of War, and they've made an appearance in every game afterward. However, one of the more unique features of God of War (2018) is that Kratos doesn't begin his adventure with the Blades of Chaos, which means he will not be able to find Chaos Flames until after he dawns them again. The last whole Chaos Flame you can obtain is from an optional (and dangerous) challenge that requires you to take on one of the Berserker Gravestones and defeat the formidable Haklangr the Bearded. I don’t want to give too much of the story away as spoilers are the worst and going in fresh is best. Amelia Hutchins is a bestselling author of fantasy and paranormal romance novels. She is the author of the Monsters series, The Fae Chronicles series, and Lacy of the Nine Realms series. He wants revenge for his son’s death and for the people of his kingdom. No one knows Aria’s father, not even her sisters; the only information they’ve is that he’s powerful and immortal, so when she meets Knox, he isn’t only taking Aria’s virginity and awakening the beast that lives inside her. Will Aria embrace her savage side to find her sister and save her family, or will she burn to ashes from his heated kisses and burning hot embrace?

Aria doesn’t let anyone define, control or shape her to fit their needs or views, and she doesn’t play around or bow to anyone. On the other hand, Knox is a monster in body and never minds doing horrible things as long as he achieves his goal. Knox is one of those characters with elicit strong feelings. He’s on a mission, so his plans get a huge wrench when Aria shows up. When he thought he had everything under control, Knox receives something more than he has ever thought after meeting Aria Hecate. Torrin set the trap, but he never expected her to walk into it. Alexandria manages to ignite something in him that he thought was long gone. He knows that he shouldn’t want her, but he does. Both find themselves thrown into a ploy that neither is meant to survive. The two will need to work together if they hope to defeat this darkness. If they don’t their world will come crashing down around them. Aria’s inner monster is impatient and does everything she can to get to the beast inside Knox, even when she knows her heart in him. How much is Aria willing to sacrifice to protect his family and her loved one from Knox’s revenge? Aria knows Knox is a force that should be fought, and even though she doesn’t know her role in the world, she knows she has to remain strong because Knox isn’t what he seems to be. Knox has an underlying motive for coming to Haven Falls and never thought Aria would show up to challenge his ruling. The 1st is with the pacing in some areas. The dragging of certain scenes; while not expanding more on the FMC's family history, was disappointing. I'm not sure if I missed discussions or if the info was so briefly discussed that it got lost in everything else going on (esp. when this story is mainly from the FMC's/Aria's POV). Chaos Flame 1: The first Chaos Flame is rewarded in Helheim after Kratos takes down the Bridge of the Damned keeper, Mattugr Helson. He is one of the trolls in God of War and has the ability to vanish, as well as spawn orbs that seek out Kratos. After Aria realizes who Knox truly is, she is ready to keep her family safe and ensure he doesn’t catch her. Knox can’t explain his attraction to Aria even because he knows that she isn’t good for him. They are enemies and can never be together. Aria isn’t ready to stop the battle and uses any strength and power she possesses to wage war on Knox and his men. Be warned, the 2 mains are not all lovable. You'll experience moments of hating, being annoyed by, sympathizing, & eventually caring for both of them. Yet the storyline works & I truly enjoyed it. I'm immediately starting the next book! Mainly because I've experienced too many unbalanced stories w/ horribly overdramatic characters & scenes. This PNR subgenre can be a beautiful journey, if authored well.
