About this deal

The Freemax Maxus 2 uses the all new M Pro 3 vape tank. This sub-ohm tank is perfect for cloud chasers looking for lots of vapour. Refilling is easy with the top fill design, simply slide the cap across to expose and refill. This tank has a 2ml e-liquid capacity and is compatible with the M1-D Mesh coil (pre-installed) and also comes with a spare 904l M2 mesh coil. FreeMax are well known for their tea fibre coils, that are renowned for their excellent flavour production. This tank also has a completely adjustable airflow allowing a custom vaping experience. If you thought the Maxus 100W looked like the single battery Voopoo Drag of your dreams, then this will seem even more familiar. In fact it’s almost exactly the same size and shape as my Voopoo Drag 2! For example : 3500 mAh would become 3.5 amp (maximum allowed). What do I need to know about storing lithium batteries safely? It’s been a long time since I’ve reviewed (or even used) a Freemax mod, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The last one was two years ago with the Firelord mod, which was a full resin body single-18650 battery mod that came with the Firelord tank. The Maxus 200W reminds me of a lot of similar mods like the Drag 2 with its size, shape, and its resin panels on the side. If you’ve noticed that the manufacturers of vaping products don’t seem to be coming out with as many dual-battery box mods these days, there are two very good reasons for that. The first reason is because mesh coils have arrived and changed everything about cloud chasing. Before mesh coils arrived, the only way to get truly impressive clouds when vaping was to use a bulky low-resistance coil requiring well over 100 watts of power. Therefore, you simply couldn’t get the biggest clouds unless you used a dual-battery device.

The Maxus 200 has a custom chipset that offers a fast ramp-up, a range of safety measures including protection against short circuits, and a selection of customisable modes to tailor performance. I was sent the orange/green version but it is available in five other designs including this one making six in total. As an experienced user, the fact that the Maxus 200W allows operation with just a single battery screams “Parallel battery mod” (both batteries orientated in the same direction) to me so that’s how I proceeded next. I have been using this for about a week with various batteries VCT5A 30q`s and VCT6 which will all give a runtime on the mod depending on how many watts you are pushing through it ive been getting a good few hours pushing it quite hard and as single battery not as long which is to be expected. Quite recently, refillable pod kits have become all the rage, based on the fact that they are compact, simple, and efficient. The refillable pod kit was designed as an alternative to clunky 510-based mods and tanks, for too big and overpowered they are simply not necessary in most circumstances. This device is intended for sub ohm vaping. Sub ohm vape kits require a greater amount of knowledge and experience to use safely. They use specially designed coils that register below 1.0 Ohm resistance, for use at higher wattages. These kits will also feature advanced modes that require a knowledge of vaping to be used correctly.

The FreemaxMaxus200w kit comes supplied with the FreemaxM Pro 2 tank (Resin Edition) which is essentially the new big brother of the ever so popular FreemaxMesh Pro tank that has been loved by all for a very long time. The new FreemaxM Pro 2 tank comes as 2ml capacity to fit TPD compliance and features 4 brand new coils utilising the FMCOILTECH 4.0 technology. But on top of this it is also compatible with all the previous FreemaxMesh Pro coils which have stood the test of time wonderfully i did find a tiny bit of play with the removeable graffiti style door once gripped in the hand similar to to Voopoo drag 2 not a deal breaker but worth a mention. Freemax Maxus 2 Kit has finally arrived and we know we were late to the party with this one! Anyhow, yet this is another sleek design from Freemax and one we couldn’t say no to! A kit that has style and colour worthy of anyone’s vape collection. Grab the Freemax Maxus 2 Kit today. Not just capable of a high power output, the Maxus 200 utilises a custom chipset that offers a fast ramp-up, a range of safety measures including protection against short circuits, and a selection of customisable modes to tailor performance. When it comes to modes you can use Variable Wattage for direct control over power, Bypass for a hard-hitting vape, Variable Power Curve for programming your perfect inhale, and Temperature Control for stopping coils from burning out.Freemax have outdone themselves again here. Some of the available colour combinations might not appeal to everyone but I was pleasantly surprised by the one sent out for review as this was one of the colours I didn’t think I’d like and it definitely looks better than I thought it would in the flesh. The FreeMax FM chip is turning out to be a very capable board, and the SmartLoad battery tech still leaves me stunned at its versatility and I think this is potentially a big step up for battery safety. The M Pro 2 tank tank also performs well as you would expect from Freemax with their long standing expertise and innovation in mesh coil technologies, and I think this provides a great visual update to the previous M Pro Tank. Spices were now beginning to spill from the exhale in a pleasing manner and the sweetness of the profile was coming through nicely.
