About this deal

He was among the minions who passed Megatron his presents during the holiday season. A Gift For Megatron Not that many!! Those are all that I have (and a little extra that I will cover in another review). Imaginarium Art's Soundwave statue stands 32 inches tall and features light-up eyes. Though it is a statue, the set includes alternate heads and arms to change Soundwave's posture and whether he is holding his concussion blaster. The set also features attachment points for the included Ravage, Laserbeak, Rumble, and Ratbat. Only 200 were produced. those who love Soundwave and/or the whole G1 era; those who want an improved modern version of the character in figure form; those who want a welcoming and approachable sturdy Masterpiece Transformer If Jazz attempted to stop Soundwave, the Autobot used all of the sound equipment within his body to send a powerful sonic wave towards the fleeing Decepticon. Overwhelmed by the blast, Soundwave exploded, crushing the Brain Drain device in the process. Project Brain Drain

Nope, I agree with you. FT-02 was waaaay over detailed, much more so than MP-13. This version just needed a few areas to be cleaned up (mainly the gap in his shins) and he would have been cool. This figure debuted at Winter Wonder Festival 2019 before being made available at TakaraTomy Mall on February 28, 2019. It was later rereleased by Hasbro Pulse in the USA in January 2021. Masterpiece briefly rode the coattails of Hasbro's Collaborative crossover brand into mass market comic books in 2019 with MP-10G Optimus Prime Ecto-35 Edition's prominent appearance in the Transformers/Ghostbusters comic, albeit very much playing second fiddle to Collaborative 's original character for the Ghostbusters x Transformers subline, Ectotron. When Takara released the Transformers version of Soundwave in Japan, they retooled the hinge so the bottom of the door attached to the outside of the robot, on either side of the "buttons", which had also been retooled. Both versions of Soundwave were available in Japan, making the retool a running change variant. Due to the brand unification, nearly all Hasbro Masterpiece releases after Generations MP-10 Optimus Prime are imports of TakaraTomy toys above with new slip-covers. Masterpiece Movie Series releases after MPM-4 Optimus Prime, meanwhile, are the same toys in both Hasbro and TakaraTomy markets, with the former often releasing toys as store-exclusives.Starscream and Soundwave inserted Energon, kept inside a metal cube, into Skyquake's stasis pod to revive him. Vintage G1 "Condor Cassette: Buzzsaw", a Walmart-exclusive reissue of the Generation 1 toy, is included with Soundwave. Like most other reissues (including Hasbro's previous Universe release), Soundwave appears to be based on the running change Japanese version of the original figure, with a door that can only hold one cassette but still with the unified buttons.Unfortunately for Megatron, his parallel scheme to use the Brainwave Scanner to corrupt Optimus Prime proved too successful. The rechristened " Nemesis Prime" was power-hungry and a threat to Megatron's leadership, taking half the Go-Bots as his own separate Decepticon faction. Soundwave led Nightracer and Rumble on behalf of Megatron to steal some equipment from China, but they were opposed by the Spy Changers and the People's Liberation Army Paranormal Taskforce. Soundwave was captured by the Chinese authorities. Renegade Rhetoric (2) Milton Bradley mini-comic Later, when Megatron and his troops harvested Dark Energon from a volcano, they cut some of it into cubes. One Shall Rise, Part 1 Included with the Hasbro Toys"R"Us-exclusive version of Masterpiece Soundwave, Laserbeak features a slightly brighter shade of red paint, and comes with a clear version of his micro-cassette case. Much like its overseas counterpart, this figure is also prone to breakage in the same areas. Coming only with the Hasbro release of Soundwave (the Japanese version had Rumble instead), Buzzsaw transforms from a microcassette to a robotic condor. His cassette mode can fit into the tape compartment of the Soundwave and Blaster toys. Unlike the other four original Mini-Cassettes, Buzzsaw's deco is unique to the Transformer line rather than originating from Micro Change. In 1985, a heat-activated rubsign was added to his cassette mode front; unlike other toys, this did not replace his existing Decepticon insignia, located on his head.

This set, like all the Battle Changers, originally only saw release in Canada, Australia, and Asian markets. It eventually saw release in the U.S. in late 2015 through discount stores like TJ Maxx and Marshalls.Early drafts of the first live-action film originally referred to the AllSpark as the "Energon Cube." In the planned Transformers Chess Set by Eaglemoss, a relatively large and very well detailed statue of Laserbeak was slated to be one of the Pawn pieces on the Decepticon side. The eighth release in the Collaborative line, "Energia Buzzsaw" is a redeco of his original The Transformers toy... wait, what?

Included with Masterpiece MP-13 Soundwave, Condor features a very different transformation sequence that gives him a fully show-accurate design, with his jet thrusters no longer being separate accessories, all while transforming into a mini-cassette the same size as his Generation 1 toy, although he cannot fit in the original Soundwave toy's chest cavity. A small flip-up tab on his head hides the camera he used in The Transformers: The Movie. He comes with a pink case which can be used to store him in tape mode. Care should be used when transforming this figure, particularly around the jet thrusters, as both the arms connecting the thrusters to the main body, as well as the winglets on top of thrusters are prone to breakage. In Japan, Masterpiece Soundwave comes with Laserbeak - or "Condor," as he's known there. There are other MP cassetticons but they're sold separately, just like they were in G1 (paired off as Rumble/Ravage and Frenzy/Buzzsaw). But why is the US release I know, I know. Sorry for that. It’s just that funny feeling I had while posing all those old and new Soundwave-related figures – as if it were a family clan of sorts, with the G1 grandpa, young and powerful MP warrior and a bunch of cousins and kids, including a grumpy old bat and crazy hotheaded twins. The title screen to Ocean's Transformers game for the Commodore 64 depicts either a Laserbeak or a Buzzsaw that is primarily red with gold wings. Get on it, e-HOBBY!
