About this deal

Recognised as one of the most powerful sports racers ever to have competed in speed events, the SPA Judd is a fabulous piece of engineering which started life as a 2.8 litre Hart powered car in the early 90s. Original owner David Render used the car in hills and sprints before selling it on to Ferrari & Lancia enthusiast Christian Mineeff. Christian then had the car completely reworked and converted to F1 power with a 3.5 litre Judd CV power plant. Aero developments by Gould Engineering in the late 1990s made this car the fastest sports racer on the hills bar none. Subsequently owned by Matthew Harrison and Chris Cannell, the car has most recently been campaigned with some success by Tom Brown and Steve Cunningham. Powered by a mighty ex Leyton House Judd CV 3.5 litre F1 engine, which still runs F1 cams and sounds utterly superb! The French hill climb championship, or Championnat de France de la Montagne, has been one of the most competitive of the European national series, attracting many new F2 and 2-litre sports cars during the 1970s and early 1980s. Notable champions from this period include Pierre Maublanc (1967 and 1968), Daniel Rouveyran (1969), Hervé Bayard (1970) and Jimmy Mieusset (1971, 1972, 1973 and 1974). The best-known Course de Côte are Mont Ventoux and Mont-Dore. The instrument is programmable (connection cable and manual supplied). The fourth International Schauinsland hillclimb at Freiburg was held on August 5, 1928: "A car made the fastest time of the day, Heusser's Bugatti putting up 74.009km/h, the fastest motorcycle being Stegmann's DKW at 69.6km/h." Caracciola (Mercedes) won the over two-litre racing car class. [3] Italy [ edit ]

The car was built by Pilbeam in 2005 specifically for speed hillclimbing, but is equally at home for sprinting on race circuits. The car is the only MP92 which features a carbon fibre tub, it was modelled on the space frame Pilbeam MP84 models that were raced as LMP2 cars at Le Mans and in the USA in the Sebring series. The engine is was built by Steve Schmit Racing of Indianapolis to the following specification: You can also build (or buy) a modified Hill Climb car or even a specialist single-seater, there are a wide variety of classes catering for many options. Modified production cars, or specialist Sprint or Hill Climb vehicles are required to be fitted with a Roll Over Protection System (ROPS), details of which can be found in section S of the Motorsport UK YearbookVery strong Vauxhall red-top engine on twin 45 webbers. Caterham dry sump system, non-standard cams, likely QED origin with vernier cam wheels. Stand alone programmable ignition system, two control units (they work great but are quite old) and if I was keeping the car I would update for more flexibility in tuning. Ford rear axle with LSD five link set up by Aryliam motorsport. CAB 282 is one of the best-known examples of the marque and is one of two survivors of the four prototypes built by Dellow immediately after WW2. It was first owned for Lewis Tracey who was very active in club motorsport in the early post war years. Unlike the later production Dellows it has an Austin 7 chassis but in common with most Dellows it has an 1172cc Ford engine and a Ford front axle. During the 1940s and 50s the car was used in a wide variety of trials, circuit events and hillclimbs as well as being used on the road.

It is with a heavy heart but the time has come for my highly successful and much loved Westfield to go to a new home. I have had the car for 20 years and it has been developed and improved in every aspect. During my ownership I have won the Westfield Speed Series outright (and come 2 nd overall 5 times), won the British Sprint Junior challenge, had uncountable class wins and set numerous class records in both road going and modified classes. No expense has been spared during my ownership in keeping it in tip top condition and specification. The asking price no way reflects the amount that I have lavished on it over the years. Road registered (but currently SORN) and complete with MSA competition car passport This very successful and well developed Radical Prosport has an excellent specification and a current MSA vehicle passport. The Vision was then extensively rebuilt and modified to accept one of the special turbocharged K Series engines which were developed by Rover for the MG EXF project. The car has proved to be a competitive proposition in speed events over the years but has not been used since being immaculately prepared with a freshly rebuilt engine. The car has been driven during set-up testing, race testing and the race itself. All components are functional and in perfect condition.
